Ask HN: Do y'all sit here just looking at each url pop up to engage?

2•vanessa1211•1h ago
So I can see that people are engaging with posts and they have very good engagement too. But when I am posting and asking a question, there is no one who is answering my question. Is there something that I am missing out on?

I am looking for the same answer people are engaging a lot , seems like people have opened their feed , and whatever is popping up , tehy are engaging to that

The URLs have a lot more depth in them to engage with.

Scan for topics that interest me when deciding what to interact with. Topics about engagement are interesting, since there is definitely something very specific about posts that make people want to engage. Could be your username, could be the subject, or maybe it's just random?

Some people only seem to look at the front page. But of course stuff wouldn't get there without engagement. Problem is if a site like this reveals the answer it would just get gamed.
