Title cont'd: Optional TRT for Troops 30 & Over
Someone•1h ago
The article itself says something different (required for ≥ 30 optional for < 30):

“The Pentagon will begin screening active-duty service members 30 and older for testosterone deficiency every year […] Service members younger than 30 will be able to request the test voluntarily”

And of course, this policy change was published on the relevant channel, namely X, according to the Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jul/15/us-military-...)

eesmith•14m ago
> Also unaddressed is how the military will square a program that screens troops for low testosterone with the FDA's stance that testosterone replacement therapy is approved only for men with a diagnosed medical condition affecting hormone production.

Everyone who defended the right of soldiers to skip the COVID vaccine should be even more supportive of the right to skip required testosterone injections which have no medical support or proven operational benefit, right?

Alas, my comment is made with weary sarcasm.
