Show HN: Axiom toolkit – Make your ideas precise enough to be proven wrong

https://axiomreason.com
2•samcymbaluk•1h ago
It's our mission to make logic mainstream. As a first step on this journey, we've released a free AI toolkit for turning a belief, question, or argument into formal logic using our novel "logic for discourse" built on top of Lean 4.

For a 5-minute intro and walkthrough, check out the video on the landing page: https://axiomreason.com/#walk-through

To try it yourself, install the toolkit (AI skills, Lean library, and Axiom CLI) here: https://axiomreason.com/install/toolkit

It works best if you pick something you truly care about. An important belief you have, an argument for a position you hold, a question you really want answered. This process of transforming natural language into formal logic gives the AI the scaffold it needs to effectively identify gaps in your thinking, edge cases, equivocation, etc.

The eventual goal is to create an active social platform where all communication is in formal logic. We've got a lot of work ahead to make such a thing approachable for a general audience. Since we rely on delta-irreducible natural language "semantic strings", it's more accurate to think of our logic as an English++ rather than a complete replacement for natural language.

I'll do my best to answer all of your questions!
