What if your AI agent could have its own WhatsApp number?

AI agents can already reason, use tools, query systems, write code, execute tasks, and make decisions.

But there’s still one thing they struggle to do well: operate natively on WhatsApp.

In markets like Latino america, that matters a lot.

Customers message businesses there. Orders get confirmed there. Documents are sent there. Payments are requested there.

A huge part of the actual workflow happens inside WhatsApp.

The problem is that connecting an agent to this channel is still messy.

Meta setup, phone numbers, templates, webhooks, media handling, billing, observability, payments — most of this infrastructure was designed for humans to configure manually, not for agents to operate programmatically.

So an agent may be smart enough to do the job, but still lack the infrastructure required to operate where the job actually happens.

That’s why we built the new Tyxter.

WhatsApp infrastructure for AI agents.

With one API, agents can:

send and receive messages process audio, images, and documents use templates and WhatsApp Flows react to events through webhooks provision and operate phone numbers initiate payments

We’re not building the agent’s brain.

We’re building the channel it operates through.

You build the intelligence. Tyxter provides the infrastructure for it to operate on WhatsApp.

We’re opening the platform to our first users now.

So, will be a pleasure having you testing our solution :)

i thought this was what openclaw was for?

OpenClaw is the agent layer. Tyxter is the WhatsApp infrastructure underneath it: numbers, messaging, media, webhooks and payments. You could actually connect an OpenClaw agent to Tyxter to give it its own WhatsApp presence, with the oficial Meta API.
