Build a website for AI pics for dating apps in 20 hours, launched ads, failed

I had some free google cloud credits (included nano banana for AI gen photos) Build a simple website - user uploads a selfie, receiving cool pics for dating apps with his face + he can edit photos with promts. 3 photos with watermarks for free, after that pack with 25 photos for 9,99$, In the backend its prefiltered cool photos + face recognition in order to return only photos with a good simularity.

End result - $202 spent, funnel - 123 clicks (8,0% CTR, $1,64 per click) 37 made free photos, 2 purchases

I want to try Meta Ads as well, I like the idea that you could check meta ads library for competitor's creatives (video and pics) and copy those which are running for a long time. Nobody will run a creative for a long time if it doesnt have a good ROI. I want to try this

Expirience from this project - it seems like its not that diffucult now a days to launche google ads via google ads API and claude, I had pretty good metrics (CTR and cost per click). The question is how to achive good conversion ration on the website
