$1B sounds like a serious fine, but for a company the size of Google I’m not sure it changes much. Hopefully the rules create room for more competitors, we'll have to see if it has any impact.

Apparently it's on top of another 4.5bil fine [0] so if it all comes down at once, it might actually have a slight impact. Their revenue is just over 400bil/yr [1] so that docks them a bit over 1%. Doubt it has a ton of impact tbh, but they might feel it.
