Been waiting for this announcement for a very long time. Zen 6c!

256 Physical Core, 512 vCPU. 1GB of Level 3 Cache. PCI-e 6.0 for SSD and Network.

On a OCP Rack, 1U could host 2048 vCPU! This is 2 Node each with 2x 512 vCPU. with up to 8TB of DDR5 Memory.

It wasn't that long ago people keep screaming about Web Scaling issues. A single rack of these in would be 81920 vCPU.

And pricing is reasonable, $14K for 256 CPU Core on leading edge 2nm GAA. That would probably translate close to $10K per CPU in bulk purchase.

If that is only one thing that is slightly disappointing is IPC of Zen6 still isn't close to Apple's M4, M5 and soon to be released M6.

I only hope they can keep up the production and not having to wait for their delivery. Something AMD hasn't been doing great with their EPYC Server CPU delivery.

The MRDIMMs with 2 or 3x more RAM on them look wild. And +50% speed, ddr-12800, across more chips. We'll see how the latency numbers look, at some point! Massive leap in bandwidth on these things.
