I looked for a portfolio tracker for a long time. The options are fewer than you would expect, and the ones that exist share the same problems: cluttered interfaces, a lot of noise, and even core features locked behind a paywall.
I'm an industrial designer, so I built the tracker I wanted instead: a refined interface, no ads, no noise, and the core features free. Tracking works in any currency; every buy, sell and dividend is converted at the exchange rate of its own date, so the return you see is what you actually earned. On top of the free core there are paid features for people who want more (index comparisons, analysis cards, tax reports), and I keep adding to it because I use it daily and keep running into my own needs.
One note for transparency: I don't write code. The app is built by directing AI tools, with me doing the design, the specs and the testing. Happy to answer questions about the product or about building it this way.
