If you look at the current tech space, AI integrations and use and some very useful but some unnecessary AI implementations, you will realise that there are either many gaps in current understanding.
Lets start on what i wanted to talk, first lets talk about AI, what is AI, not the defination, but actually is AI, it may not be the ultimate intelligence but have some intelligence or atleast we can say, it know certain well known patterns, its ability comes in various sizes, but essentially now we a black box with some knobs, which be a better solution than hard coded flows, logics and if its imagined well, it can be really really useful but there is a flaw.
We being extremists, we either think of its going to taking all the jobs or its just useless, there is another way to approach it.
Think of it as intelligence layer available to you, but current tech stack (whole approach) is limiting its capabilities, why i think so?
Our tech space was never designed with this capability in mind that if its possible, the OS, markets, interactions, ui/ux all of its have a different architecture and now with immediate push for AI, we are trying to plug-in AI at various levels. In my opinion the architecture could be different, way diffetrent, better, secure, enabbling too many things, moving from 0 --> 1 level of civilizational impact type.
Well, in my mind the idea is not well formed, but its something like this.
Imagine, a layer on intelligence present around you in all of your devices, may be on device, and this intelligence layer, can function at the core of tech, like imagine a device your phone, with this intelligence layer, what you are using, how you are using, context of the screen, surrounding, all the sensors to locate in space, audio, camera, all of these available to this inteligence layer, not to exploit but to make decisions, it can know that you are about to drive, it can warm up device in drive mode, audio that you like to play, warm up apps that you use, can talk back better, in sync with car play, interactions, analysing your mood, suggestions, not google suggestions, generic, but very personalised, like you generally go to pub on friday, you take a different route, put phone apps which are more needed and other things optimised, well organised phone, if someone try to trick you into OTP, can analyse, detect spams, frausters, helpful for old people to prevent getting scammed, you can continue tasks across devices, access stuff across devices, even your laptop is closed, at home it can do that, a deeply integrated OS, across devices, native intelligence built in, spawning ui to ease things, speed up, new ways of input, accessing, auto fill forms, stuff, device handshakes to perform tasks on your behalf in an app in background, like can you do a whatsapp video call to mom, even if that shortcut is not exposed, it can take actions on your behalf, on device, fully native, build stuff for you, you frequenly need calculator to convert inches to mm or temparatures or weight or something like that, build as per needs, a fully intelligent working system, not at app level, not even device level, across devices, better integrations and huge impact, accessible to all kind of people and amazing.
This is not a fully formed idea, not sure how much capable it can be, but its better connected world, secure, safe, and intelligent.
