From CasaOS to ZimaOS, the App Store has been part of our journey for a long time. Over the years, we have received a great deal of valuable feedback from the community and continued exploring how we could systematically improve the overall experience of discovering, installing, and managing apps.
With ZimaOS v1.7.0, we have completely reworked the app discovery and management experience, along with the overall interface design.
The all-new App Store 2.0 is more than just a list of apps. We have redesigned the app discovery, management, and detail pages, making it easier to find apps, check their status, and perform everyday management tasks. We have also added native YAML support, giving advanced users a more flexible and powerful way to configure their apps.
This upgrade would not have been possible without our community. Special thanks to @dragonfire1119 and @Cp0204 for the time and effort they have dedicated to upgrading and maintaining their third-party app stores, and for their invaluable support of the ZimaOS app ecosystem.
App Store 2.0 is not the finish line—it is a new beginning. We will continue improving the experience and adding new features based on community feedback, bringing ZimaOS closer to the way you actually use it.
