Because you elected a convicted rapist as President?
andsoitis•28m ago
Why? Because it isn’t that clear cut. You can take the position that it is commentary on immigration, demographics, media bias, rather than racial animus.

If you’re gonna proclaim with confidence that someone is a big racist or Nazi (another favorite), you’re gonna have to explain the diversity of the workforce of their companies…

JohnFen•19m ago
His rhetoric is pretty clear-cut and unambiguous.

> you’re gonna have to explain the diversity of the workforce of their companies

Why? That has nothing to do with whether or not he's racist. But if you want an answer, he would take an enormous legal risk if he engaged in racist hiring policies too much, regardless of his personal worldview.

> His rhetoric is pretty clear-cut and unambiguous.

Can you substantiate by giving maybe 2 quotes from him that are unambiguously racist.

> Why? That has nothing to do with whether or not he's racist. But if you want an answer, he would take an enormous legal risk if he engaged in racist hiring policies too much, regardless of his personal worldview.

But what about the employees themselves? You're claiming that he is clearly, unambiguously very racist. Explain then why so many non-"whatever" people work for his companies? What's wrong with them?

But then we can also extend and ask, are the people who associate with him closely co-racists, like e.g. Jensen Huang? How do you explain their association if it is so clearcut and unambiguous?

PaulHoule•14m ago
The question is what exactly we're supposed to do about it.
andsoitis•4m ago
You can outraged! You can demonstrate your self-righteousness! And lastly, you're meant to spread the word without critical thinking like a dogmatic evangelist.
