Show HN: State of the Feed – TikTok usage analyzed

https://wrapped.vantezzen.io/state-of-the-feed
2•bennett_dev•50m ago
Hey HN, I'm the creator of "Wrapped for TikTok" - like Spotify Wrapped but for TikTok.

Users can upload their TikTok data export to get a summary of their time on the platform, and can optionally donate their data to be used by academic research. We now have almost 17k users who donated their data. With "State of the Feed" I wanted to make some of the research happening behind the scenes more visible.

The current research focussed on comparing 2024 to 2026 data, which showed some interesting downward-trends: time per video decreased, overall time on TikTok increased, bedtime went later.
