Show HN: Emacs user are you waiting for mg to get UTF-8?

https://github.com/nicholascarroll/emil
1•emil_coder•59m ago
Emil is a new alternative to mg that is built specifically for UTF-8.

If you have Emacs muscle memory but want a very minimalist editor this is it. If you run GNU emacs it is handy to have on environments where you don’t have Emacs installed.

It’s 15K LOC of readable and unsophisticated C99. It runs on any Unix-like operating system up to 25 years old and will almost certainly build and run everywhere in another 25 years without any need for updates.
