TLBIC (Time-Limited Local Basic Income Credit) is a proposed basic income system with three core mechanisms: it expires after a few months to prevent hoarding; it requires no application (support is automatically delivered before a person needs to ask); and it is restricted to the local economy and non‑speculative use. Its purpose is structural—to reduce the despair that comes from feeling there is no way out. This is one attempt to address the systemic despair that contributes to the nearly 20,000 lives lost to suicide in Japan every year
This is v10.0, and for the first time it includes concrete experimental design: "Chapter 5: Phase 1—Detailed Plan for a Small-Scale Pilot Experiment."
I'd particularly welcome feedback on the Phase 1 pilot design in Chapter 5, since this is new.
