Every time someone says "production is on fire" I picture an actual city burning. So I built that.
User Town turns your analytics into a 3D city:
Total users = how big the city is. One user is a single house. A few thousand is a town. Five million is a megacity.
Active users right now = traffic and crowds.
Platform status = the weather. All good is clear skies. Degraded is a storm. An outage sets the city on fire. Recovering gets a rainbow.
It's plain Three.js. Your GA4 or PostHog data is read on the server, so the public page only ever receives two numbers, never your key.
The demo live city on LP is my own other product, around 55k users. Real numbers, but it's mine, so it proves nothing about whether anyone else wants this. That's why I'm posting.
Ask me anything about the rendering or the data side. Mostly I want to know if this lands for anyone else or if it's just fun for me.
