Employees evaluating startup offers or working at startups face some unique challenges in terms of understanding and evaluating their equity. I’ve had to learn this the hard way.

I’m building a platform to help employees evaluate their startup equity (offered or accepted). Two current features: 1. A probabilistic outcome model for your equity offer. Loosely based on real public data, the point is to treat it as a framework with which to visualize the possible range of outcomes, rather than a prediction 2. Benchmark your offer against other offers in the same role x company stage

It’s not necessary to submit an offer to use it, and no company or personal info is saved for saved offers - benchmarking is done by role x stage only.

My long term vision is to build a community-based platform where user-submitted offers can build a dataset to help employees evaluate their offers.

Another long term idea is to incorporate equity tracking over time for employees that are actively working at startups.
