As we all are overloaded with pull requests, we wonder: "is it AI slop?" or even simpler "has it been written by AI?". While trying to figure out what to do at work, I realized these are the wrong questions.

So, I am humbly sharing my thoughts on how to evaluate AI-assisted code without getting distracted by whether AI was involved. It’s also the first post on my new blog.
