Hey Softbank, can I get an investment of $1 million in my life? I promise your returns will be similar to your other more expensive ventures!

Everything with this regime is yet another Big Lie - a bullshit assertion that directly contradicts reality, meant as a purity test of who is willing to swallow their pride, eat, and repeat. On this topic, "Trump Presidential Library" supports a fiction that this regime has any respect or use for books, learning, knowledge, or other intellectual pursuits.

The bribing itself isn't really novel, but rather standard regime behavior. This is exactly a major background dynamic of why people blanket-oppose data centers in their communities - the rule of law has been wholly cast aside for the politically connected, so you want to do everything you can to not give this industry any foothold in your community to begin with. Most data centers may be quiet and great neighbors, but when they are not there is nothing you can do about it.
