I got annoyed by the lack of a true shuffle on Apple Music and ended up building a tiny app for it that does an actual random shuffle and hands it off to the Music app to play. It's free, source is here if you want to try it. Only catch is it's not on the App Store, so you'd need Xcode to build it yourself. If you've got a Mac it's like a 10 min setup. Once you add it to your phone, you can add a widget to your home screen so you can shuffle it without having to go into the Music app. Star it if you find it helpful. If enough people find it useful I'll release it to the App Store for easier use, free of charge.
