The author of this caught my attention, because they were part of the group who put together Forum 2000 backs in the late 90s. (And Forum 1900 when the Y2k bug hit it.)

It was an early web site where you'd post a question, and an AI had embedded various personas, who would respond with a discussion amongst themselves in response to the questions. The personas included the people who put the project together, but also famous authors, philosophers, fictional characters, pokemon, etc. Andrej had posted all the math behind it at the time.

https://web.archive.org/web/19990430053446/http://www.forum2...

In reality, it was of course a handful of people in the background who would manually type back replies, but that really didn't diminish the entertainment value.

In any case, it was written when he was a student, just a joke project, so I'm sure his actual academic career had progressed in the decades since to where he has more important things he'd prefer to be remembered by, but it was a highlight of our day back in the dotcom boom to read Forum 2000 on our lunch hours.

The reason I mention all this is that I've been remembering is these last couple years, pondering that today, it could actually exist.

It named a database column ORDER and so it needs to be quoted as `db."order"` whenever it's used.

It's crap like this that demonstrates how human review is still needed.
