Recommendations. Do these recommendations have a material impact on what actually happens on the ground?

They very much used to in that some organizations policy was effectively, “Whatever the government says”. In the last couple of years, more organizations now have competing standards.

On a more direct route, this could impact insurance payments and so the likelihood of children getting the shots. If insurance will only pay for the official vaccine schedule, plenty of parents will delay for economic reasons.

> this could impact insurance payments and do the likelihood of children getting the shots. If insurance will only pay for the official vaccine schedule,

I would imagine more frequent visits (which this recommendation suggests) is more expensive than a single visit for all the shots at once.
