Ask HN: Anyway to get past the Show HN restriction thing?

Spent almost a year working non-stop on something that is genuinely completely underdeveloped in its domain (from my research at least), just to not be able to post it on Show HN due to the "temporarily restricting Show HNs because...." restriction. Any way to work around that?
