I started working on this in 2021 after quitting my job and squandering my time on silly things. I wanted an app that'd give me some structure. But my first iteration was bloated with notes, tasks, tags, events. It was trying to be an "everything app" like Notion, but it wasn't doing any job well.

So I deleted everything except normal events and just focused on making them fast to edit from the keyboard.
