Ask HN: Has anyone been fired because of an AI-driven DDoS attack?

3•novateg•46m ago
I’m curious whether anyone here has experienced the human/business impact of the recent increase in automated or AI-assisted traffic and DDoS attacks.

Has anyone actually lost their job, been fired, or had their team significantly downsized after an attack caused a major outage, unexpected cloud bill, SLA breach, or other serious incident?
