Yoel here, tech lead on this effort.

We've been working on AI-driven diagramming for the last few years and have seen the development from DSL-based (Mermaid et al) to lower level primitives (direct-to-SVG and similar). We've just open sourced an end-to-end framework for generating diagrams.

Key features: - A diagram is defined as JSON - The visual layer is HTML, using <template> and CSS to control per-component rendering and styling - Bring-your-chromium for PNG generation on your computer, CI machine, API box, etc - The component layer is completely customizable! You can define your own schemas and templates as long as they conform to the protocol.

Excited to see what people make and curious about feedback on the technical approach!
