earlier today I tried ordering something online from the states but got hung up because the site doom looped trying to force me to accept shipping to another non existant postal code, so I called a local outfit and got a price about 20% higher, but asked if they could do tiny bit better than the US online price, which they were happy to do.
So I think that this will become a thing to counter tarrif the US of trump at every oportunity.
I also got a guarentee today that an extra $1000 for increased costs and fuel on a previously quoted and started job was no problem.
Plus our government is rolling out billions for small, and medium sized business effected by tarrifs and fuel ,etc, anounced today on top of existing programs for the steel and auto industrys to retool and retrain.
Heck it's almost like 10% of one of the North Canadian Continents smaller neighbors economys was up for grabs, eh.
