Hello everyone, I’m Ashmit, member of the Radian UI team.
Actually, we began developing this as an internal project because we required a component system for our internal products and discovered some friction while using existing projects such as shadcn/ui. This component system turned out to be helpful in our product development process, so we’ve decided to open source it.
Instead of installing the package via npm, you simply copy components and use them directly in your codebase, you own the code and don’t need to struggle with updating it in the future. In addition to components, it contains pre-made UI blocks (sign in, onboarding, sidebars, etc.) and includes a design system in Figma that is consistent with the code.
The component library is already used in production in several real products. I would be grateful for any comments and feedback.
