In Per Diem, each day you cast 5 dice from a sack randomly. The pips and patterns (ie. snake eyes) are scored, producing your final score for the day. You get one roll a day, so the challenge is maximizing your scoring potential. Charms are the mechanism by which you tilt the odds in your favour: charms can modify the pip score and the multiplier. Each day presents a new "encounter" which slightly modifies the rules of the game, requiring a new strategic approach.
Because charms are not freely available, the game scales over days as you score points, earn coins, and purchase better charms from the shop. In order to keep your score and charms you should sign in. Currently only Discord sign ins are supported - this is admittedly a bit of a growth hack: when you sign in, you can see a leaderboard for each Discord server you're apart of, which makes competition a little more fun.
I made this mostly as a fun way to test out my knowledge on how to build a viral product with some built in growth mechanisms, and now I'm testing to see if it holds up against an audience like HN. :) Let me know what you think!
