My grandparents would be horrified if they came back from the dead and read what was happening to America's parks nowadays.

He has about 2.5 years to completely destroy and fleece the US, I expect things to accelerate in every direction to meet those objectives. The only question is, will the US ever recover.
libertine•14m ago
The most pressing question is will US citizens continue to be ok with this - in other words, will this be normalized and become the status quo.

Recovery could be a matter of time and effort, even if things end up in a different place (better or worse).

But people seem to be willing to suspend their ethical, moral, even religious beliefs to make some sort of statement, and are apparently willing to pay for it.

So that's the thing, it doesn't make sense to talk about a "recovery" if this is simply the end goal people want.

krapp•5m ago
What will happen is the US will elect a Democrat, the effects of Trump's policies will really start breaking things, people will blame the Democrats and the process of grift and destruction will continue with the Republicans again.
