I recently came across DBYTE, a small programming language that is still in its early stages.
It appears to have started as a personal project for exploring compilers, runtimes, ownership, and native targets. The language is still a work in progress, but there is a website with some documentation and background information.
What caught my attention is the longer-term goal of using DBYTE to build an operating system in the language itself. That is still a long way off, but it seems like an interesting project to follow.
The source repository is currently unavailable, so I’m linking only the project website for now.
I’m curious what people here think about the project and its direction.
