Author here. Self-funded weather tracker for 18 Eastern Caribbean islands, one year old this month. TL;DR: our provider's "gust" estimate was inaccurate for our region, and on a squally morning it put 45 mph on islands whose airports had measured nothing close to that. Happy for suggestions or feedback.
