hey guys! I'm Ami, one of the two founders.

If you're unfamiliar with Brilliant, here's a quick overview in bullet points:

1. Figma-grade 2D professional vector design tool

2. Supports Shaders, liquid glass, auto layout, pen tool and much more

3. Every design is just plain text (a language called blueprint. learn more about it here: https://github.com/brilliant-hq/blueprint)

4. Humans, agents, the file format and even the rendering engine are all built on reading/writing Blueprint

5. It's BYOK and picks up your installed claude code, codex, cursor and also works via API key with google, anthropic, openAI, open router and any other openAI compatible AI provider

6. Editor is free, MCP is unlimited

7. There's also a github-like platform for versioning, sharing & collaborating on work!

8. Same pricing model as early-day GitHub. Public work is free. Teams & private projects costs money

9. tech stuff: 2.5M+ LoC across the entire tech stack. Our custom native GPU rendering engine and many other cool things you're welcome to ask about if anyone is curious :)
