I started redoing my website a couple months ago and things just snowballed. Coding has never come naturally to me so I wanted a way to build and edit a site without staring at code or paying $20 a month to do so. So I created an admin dashboard to handle all the edits. I always loved those websites that mimicked a virtual operating system; nested folders, image galleries, blog style posts etc. Something that you could explore instead of just scrolling. MeridianOS replicates a vintage computer's operating system. The site is built locally from your machine and files are exported as plain HTML and JavaScript files that can be uploaded to any web host.

Features include: a searchable nested folder file system, image gallery, A/V posts, blog style posts, password protected folders, HTML/links, and built-in "Accessories" (music player, 1bit paint, a retro console emulator, TextEdit, events calendar).

And everything is customizable; colors, desktop background, icons (animated ones too!) or there's built-in options as well.
