Show HN: I created a privacy-focused email service

https://justreceive.email/
2•beastave•49m ago
I built JustReceiveEmail because I don't want data collectors tracking my online activity through my email address.

The idea is simple: use a different email address whenever you sign up for something, while still being able to keep that address and receive emails from it later.

Privacy was the main goal. Incoming emails are encrypted before being stored, no tracking/logging is used, and the service tries to collect as little data as possible. Only a username is required to create an account.

There are no ads or trackers. Instead, it costs a small fee to help keep the service running.

I'd love to get feedback, especially on the privacy model and anything you think I should improve.

I currently pay $10 per year for email that also lets me send. I can't see paying over double that for half the functionality.

Not being able to reply makes this service useless for me. Sometimes you need to be able to reply to support messages with the email you signed up with.

It doesnt say anywhere if it works with email clients.

I can't read much of the text on your site. Grey text on a grey background is not accessible. (Which makes third party client use even more important.)
