I had barely used social media before. I once joined a social network to promote another app, but it didn’t feel right for me so I decided to make my own.

I was building it so I would have one I could use, but somewhere along the way I began to enjoy making it, and that became the purpose.

What didn’t work for me was people posting short messages over and over, attacking each other in the comments, and using posts mainly to send people to external links.

On landscape, you can only post once a day. There are no replies or DMs, and you can’t include URLs in posts. Likes and follows still exist, but you can’t see who liked a post or followed you.

It supports Japanese and English, and posts are automatically translated between the two languages.
