When you are rich you have agency. You have what others want and this can help you make an exchange that you would not be possible otherwise. It can put your life in a very different position where you can fulfill your wants very easily.
And in general, you don't have to put so much energy to make things happen.
That's why I think at the start of your career it's very important that you can find out how you can make most amount of money ethically. It's safe to postpone any plans that will not increase your bank balance for a while.
The problem is that most people don't know when to stop because they don't have clarity where they gonna spend their money. It then becomes an addiction or dependency. The reason why it happens because whatever the route you choose to increase your bank balance was not good enough. Which is sadly the case of most of the people.
To choose a good path, you need to take high risk bets.
