A slow-down of AI development because of safety concerns? In reality the industry’s balance sheets are scarier than its AI models.

Different people can be scared by dofferent things, or multiple things.

I wouldn't invest (more) in any of the big names today.

Even without either p(doom) or bubble concerns, nobody knows how to operationalise "safety" in AI today, which leaves open possibilities of bankruptcy-inducing civil lawsuits even as a "normal" technology.

I also have p(doom) and bubble concerns as more than rounding errors, but I don't need to in order to not like the finances.
