Show HN: Omastorm – Live NEXRAD weather radar for Omarchy

https://github.com/wesleygrimes/omastorm
1•wesgrimes•49m ago
I’m a software developer and weather nerd. I wanted weather radar that felt like part of my desktop, so I built Omastorm.

It lives in the Omarchy bar. Open it for a quick look at your nearest radar, or expand it into a full window to explore and play back recent scans. It uses NOAA’s NEXRAD Level II data, supports keyboard navigation, and follows your desktop theme.

It’s open source and still in beta. Currently it requires Omarchy 4 and supports the NEXRAD network; international radar coverage isn’t available yet.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked with radar data, and from anyone who tries it and finds something confusing or frustrating. Happy to get into how it works.
