When Thinking Goes Sedentary

I do way more than I use to. Have way more conversations and think way more critically. Why? Because the cost of asking questions is cheaper than me having to spend critical thinking on how to navigate Google SEO results or a website's form or around pop-up ads just for a baking recipe.

I'm constantly probing, learning. I cook way more and recall recipes from memory. I'm way more active, maintain a better running schedule and learned way more from probing Claude on a drive than I would just have trapped in nostalgia.

All that said, I hear and respect the need for us to treat brain use as active part of training (the same way we should treat sleep), and will be trying some of your suggestions.

Fair point about the cost of questions getting cheaper. I've been asking a ton of really basic questions in domains I'm not remotely familiar with as it's much easier to get an answer without having to navigate blogspam.
