Highway is Google’s open-source C++ library for portable SIMD/vector code. For years, there was no on-ramp. If you wanted to learn Highway rather than just reference it, your options were a terse quick-reference page and a (good, but dense) README. Now, there is an on-ramp. A new Highway tutorial just landed in the official repo, thanks to a volunteer team of Fastcode community contributors, led by Highway’s creator, Jan Wassenberg.
