Airlines' panic as FAA pushed new AI tool

Flagged because the literal first line is "Airline industry officials have finally stopped panicking about the Federal Aviation Administration’s soon-to-launched". There's absolutely the reverse of that click baitish title.
mdp2021•57m ago
The title is

# Inside airlines’ panic as FAA pushed new AI tool

which states: "There has been panic".

That is not

> absolutely the reverse of that click baitish title

if the opening is

> have finally stopped panicking

The title means "Inside airlines’ panic [that was] as FAA pushed new AI tool"

--

@Submitter: try to reinject that 'Inside' that probably the automated filters have removed. It makes the title clearer.

OK, unflagged.

The late Professor Patrick Winston, of MIT 6.034 - Artificial Intelligence -, was the author of optimizing software for planes routes on land. Deterministic, of course: Prof. Winston stated (up to the Convolutional Networks revolution) that "Neural Networks can do everything, but worse than deterministic algorithms".

It is a sad phenomenon to see articles speaking of AI and not clarifying immediately if it is deterministic, non-deterministic, "special", whatever; if the solution is optimal, local maximum etc. To speak of "AI" that way is a big bucket that makes no sense.
