Hi everyone, I'm a solo developer in Lincolnshire, UK. I've recently built Accordia. It is a 1-on-1 tool for engineering managers. You build a reusable agenda per report, run the meeting against it, and anything that turns into an action gets tracked and pulled into the next session automatically.

I built it because of the 1-on-1s I sat in as a developer, not ones I ran as a manager. The pattern was always the same. The first few were good. Then my manager got busy, the meeting quietly turned into a status update, and something I'd raised in March came back as a surprise in my end of year review. None of them were bad managers but the 1 on 1 was not their priority so it ended up coming from memory and whilst there were good intentions there were issues with the process.

So the thing I'm actually trying to fix isn't manager capability, it's the amount of discipline a good 1-on-1 currently demands. Most of the managers I've spoken to are running theirs out of a Notion doc or a shared spreadsheet. That works fine until it doesn't, and when it stops working nothing tells you until it's too late and you're in a messy situation.

That also means I'm competing with Notion and spreadsheets, not with Lattice or 15Five. There's no performance review cycle, no engagement scoring, no HR dashboard, and direct reports don't need accounts.

Stack: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, Supabase for Postgres and auth with server actions, Zustand, dnd-kit, shadcn/ui, PostHog, Paddle for billing, on Vercel. Local dev runs the full Supabase stack in Docker on a migration workflow.

Free for up to 3 direct reports. $29/month above that which I think seems about right.
