Hotel reservation software WebRezPro has been compromised, leading to spearphishing attacks over WhatsApp.

I got such a message over the weekend that included precise details about my reservation, asking me to confirm my booking by paying for something that I knew I had already paid for.

If you get a message like this, just contact the hotel directly. Fortunately, they knew about the data compromise from the reservation system.
