I was under the impression that for doing any research we humans require emotions which AI truly lacks. But with how AI going autonomously I fail to understand how that could be even possible without emotions.

Are AI really curious to do something on its own? I am not an AI critic but fail to understand this nuance of not being emotional and doing deep research beating highly emotional human researchers on their field. How is this even possible by an advanced pattern matcher with reinforcement learning? From where it gets its curiosity to go autonomous?

Also can we say AI as trained professionals especially given its non deterministic stochastic nature? Despite that randomness how do they beat human professionals on their field? Does math have solution to all our questions? I understand that this AI is an illusion but how it alters our brain waves when we interact with it.

Please help me to enlighten others and make us understand the "AI Behavior".
