Hey HN! Here's a project I've been working on as a fun side-project.

SciTrader is a crypto trading app technology showcase using WebGPU and QuestDB

On the back-end: C# Server and QuestDB for trade ingestion

Middleware: Custom protobuf-style binary compression of quotes, trades, L2 data gives 10x data reduction over JSON

On the front-end: SciChart.js v6 with WebGPU

I'd welcome comments & feedback from anyone interested in crypto trading as to what would be good to put in the app. Since we've got L2 data and can store historical L2 or aggregated order book, historical trades there may be a couple of neat things that I can add for traders.
