But I think anyone can build their own Instinct for a specific group of people. You know your audience, understand what they need, and know how to reach them.
So I built an open-source version.
It can make purchases online, coordinate with other people’s agents, use a computer, connect to MCP tools, manage permissions + everything else instinct wants to do.
Here’s the stack:
- Pi, the open-source agent framework used by openclaw - Maritime for each agent’s VM and computer access (cheapest infra) - Composio for app integrations and managed Google OAuth - Inkbox for imessege + email
If you want to start selling your own personal AI agent, you can host the backend on a platform like railway/vercel (around $20 a month). Maritime handles provisioning each agent’s VM and the infrastructure behind it ($1 a month per agent)
I’m open-sourcing this so we can build on it together: add more services and tools, better permissions, different payment strategies, better prompts...
The goal is to make it easy and affordable for anyone to launch a startup selling agents so that the world isnt ruled by openai dots and meta muses
Check it out and let me know what you think!
