Show HN: Staffcoder, hands-on practice for modern frameworks in a browser IDE

https://www.staffcoder.com
1•shashank21j•48m ago
Hi HN,

I'm Shashank. I have curated 1000s of practical real world software engineering assessments in the past as part of my job. I felt there's a gap where if a person wants to learn to build software they have many options to learn from (learning platforms and free resources) but very few or no options to practice their skills hands on. I built Staffcoder so that developers can learn the skills while solving real world scenarios across various domains in software engineering.

On Staffcoder you can select a skill, start from beginner level and move up solving real world challenges. All this within the browser tab without needing to install anything locally. Moreover we're giving AI assistant to help solve and AI agent in the IDE for agentic development skills.

There are 1000+ challenges across 40 skills, covering frontend, backend, mobile, DevOps, data, and AI engineering. We offer skills like React, Angular, Django, .NET, Springboot, Redis, Kafka, Git, Kubernetes, Docker just to name a few. You can see the skills here https://www.staffcoder.com/paths

We also plan to launch Practice and Compete sections for experienced users once we have some traction. Sign up and stay tuned. Think of us as leetcode for real software engineering challenges.

Currently we give 1 hour/week of free usage in free plan. There's a 7 day free trial of pro plan as well. Additional AI usage is billed as pay as you go.
