Whenever I see a post start with a premise that simply isn't true, I know I'm about to read some marketing slop about their product.
What is frustrating about posts like this is that it doesn't have to be that way. Institutional knowledge is absolutely important, and when it breaks down, it does cause problems. Say that. Tell the truth. Talk about the problem you actually solve. Otherwise nobody is going to listen to you, even if you have a decent product. (I don't know if their product is decent or not, the huge red flag of the first sentence made me not want to even check.)
