Hey, author here! Forbear is a UI library written in jai. This entry is about how I was able to embed Node.js into it so that JSX could drive the UI. It's all immediate mode, and it runs relatively simple work on my 240hz without any hiccups. This definitely does not handle stuff like async, and is still extremely experimental, and since jai is in private beta, you can't compile it quite yet.
