Show HN: deCDN – a peer-to-peer CDN where every piece is BLAKE3-verified

Hi HN, we've been working on building deCDN for the last 6 months, and we're excited to share our progress!

Inspired by BitTorrent and IPFS, we wanted to build a decentralised CDN. Every piece hash-checked, but with someone always there to serve it, so it can actually act as a reliable CDN. So, we swapped BitTorrent's tit-for-tat trade for a pay-for-tat model, but with instant off-chain payments in stablecoins. It’s all Rust, on QUIC via iroh. All the tech we love and trust.

Anyone can join and serve on the network by bonding some tokens, which can be slashed if they cheat or serve blacklisted content. Nodes set their own pricing and policies for serving content.

One-click downloads for end users with a walletless experience, publishers sponsor downloads directly on behalf of their users.

The public testnet went up this week. You can try it at https://decdn.org/#try and check network stats at https://stats.decdn.org/

I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
